The organizers of the Baseball World Cup preliminary round pool in Barcelona, Spain have launched the accompanying website (www.bwcspain.es) and started the ticket sale. Single game tickets cost €12, a four-day full strip ticket €50. They can be bought through internet and by telephone.
In pool B at Barcelona are playing the Spanish National Team, Cuba, South Africa and Puerto Rico. The first game is scheduled for September 9th at the Carlos Perez de Rozas ballpark in Montjuic, the venue of the Olympic Games in 1992, the European Championships in 2007 and the European Champions Cup Final Four in 2008 and 2009.
