The Gauting Indians announced on their website on Thursday that they bring in Thomas Rohrer for the 2010 season. The 24-year-old infielder/catcher is coming from the third-division club Groebenzell Bandits, where he batted .429 (OBP .500/SLG .531) with five doubles, 15 runs scored and 13 RBI in 16 games. The German Baseball-Bundesliga club also will have Bernhard Huber (during 2009 season .213/.260/.234 in 50 PA) and Justin Kalnins (.167/.265/.167 in 35 PA) back in full capacity after both only were part-time players in 2009.
