Taiwan announces Olympic Roster

The Taiwanese Baseball Federation recently announced the national team roster for the Olympic Games in Beijing. Five players are currently playing outside of Taiwan in the Japanese Major League and in the American Minor League system, including recent XM Satellite All Star Futures Game MVP Che-Hsuan Lin from the Boston Red Sox . They are open the Olympic Tournament on Wednesday August 13th against the Netherlands.

Complete Roster:
Pitchers: Chin-Hui Tsao, Chih-Chia Chang, Wei-Lun Pan, Wen-Hsiung Hsu, Chien-Fu Yang, Chen-Chang Lee, Fu-Te Ni, Wei-Yin Chen (Chunichi Dragons, Japan), Chia-Jen Lo, Kai-Wen Cheng

Catchers: Chun-Chang Yeh, Feng-Min Chen, Chih-Kang Kao

Infielders: Tai-Shan Chang, Cheng-Min Peng, Chih-Sheng Lin, Yen-Wen Kuo (Cincinnati Reds), Chih-HsienChiang (Boston Red Sox), Chih-Wei Shih
