Swiss Finals: Therwil Flyers one Win away from Title

The THERWIL FLYERS started with two wins into the 2009 Swiss Finals. In the opener on Saturday the regular season winner had 19 hits in a lopsided 16-2 win over the defending champion BERN CARDINALS. Six runs in the fifth and four in the sixth blew the game wide open. One day later, THERWIL took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five championship series with a 4-2 victory.
