Stuttgart Reds sign 1B Randall Packard

According to rumors and a confirmation via Twitter, the Stuttgart Reds have signed Randall Packard for the upcoming season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. The 24-year-old is a Californian who attended William Penn University in 2012. The infielder also played in the Pacific West Baseball League. Stuttgart already had added Troy Williams as new head coach, catcher Jonathan Wagner and starting pitcher Charley Olson. Matti Emery, Sascha Lutz, Chris Beck and Richard Olson are not returning.

    Congratulations to my grandson Randall Packard on his signing with the Stuttgart Reds. Will miss him but what an experience for him. We are very proud of him.
