Steven Huff and Alex Pickett join Lions de Savigny

During last weekend’s preseason tournament in Toulouse, France, it was revealed, which foreign players are going to reinforce the French Elite League club SAVIGNY this year. The two Californian infielder/pitcher Alex Pickett and Steven Huff will join last year’s third place finisher. Both went to the High School in Fullerton, just south of Los Angeles and are able to play in the infield as well as bolstering the pitching staff. Huff already pitched for the LIONS in a 11-2 victory over STADE TOULOUSIAN and hit a solo homerun against ROUEN earlier. Pickett attended Missouri State University in 2008 and is 22 years old.
