In the past few seasons two teams, the Alligators and the Untouchables, dominated the northern division of the Baseball-Bundesliga. This year it is a little different with Bonn making it a three-team race for first place. On Sunday we’ll see the first showdown between these clubs, as Solingen takes on Paderborn. German national team pitcher Andre Hughes and Eugen Heilmann are expected to face each other in game one with Josh Rickards taking on Daniel Meier in the second part of the twin bill.
One day earlier the Capitals drive to Hamburg to face the HSV Stealers, trying to defend their perfect record. The game day will be opened on Friday in the southern division with Friday night Baseball at the Armin Wolf Arena in Regensburg, where the undefeated Buchbinder Legionaere host the Saarlouis Hornets. On Sunday the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe and the Haar Disciples will battle for second place in the standings.
