The 4th Sergey Bubka becomes patron for World University Championship which will be held in the Czech Republic from July 17th to July 27th 2008 has Sergey Bubka as patron.
The former Pole Vault athlete has won Olympic Gold medals and is still the world record holder.
Nowadays he is a member of the International Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Athletes Commission of the IOC.
