Second Round in Belgian Baseball starts this week
The preliminary round in the Belgian First Division finished two weeks ago with six teams advancing into the second round, which plays out the participants of the Belgian Series. The seventh and eighth place finishers have to fight against the top four teams from the second division to stay in the First Division.
The six teams in the so-called Belgian Elite League are the HOBOKEN PIONEERS, the ROYAL GREYS, the MORTSEL STARS, the BRASSCHAAT BRAVES, the NAMUR ANGELS and the BORGERHOUT SQUIRRELS.
The BRUSSELS KANGAROOS and the MERCHTEM CATS have to go into the Promo 1 Baseball League versus the ANTWERP EAGLES, the BEVEREN LIONS, the DEURNE SPARTANS and the LOUVAIN LA NEUVE PHOENIX.
They are going to play in a round robin format.
