The Italian Baseball League opens the new season with a night game on April 17. The 2007 champion Montepaschi Grosseto will face the promoted club Rangers Redipuglia, instead of the earlier reported Godo. The FIBS also published the complete schedule. Each week one game will be broadcast on Rai Sport Satellite. The regular season lasts until July 26. Every team is going to play a series of three matches per game day. The best four clubs will reach the playoffs.
