Schedule for Olympic Softball Tournament published
The International Softball Federation (ISF) published the schedule for the Olympic Games in Beijing in August this summer. The event starts on August 12th and lasts till August 21st. The eight teams Netherlands, USA, China, Venezuela, Chinese Taipei, Canada, Japan and Australia are competing at the Fengtai Softball Field. The game days are split into a morning (09:30-14:00) and a night session (17:00 - 21:30) with two matches apiece.
The Dutch Women Softball team opens the tournament against host China. They will play a single round robin with the top four squads advancing into the semi-finals. They will have an off day after the conclusion of the preliminary round.
