The Confederation of European Baseball recently finalized the schedule for the European Cup in Matino, Italy, which will be played from Tuesday, March 31st to Saturday, April 4th.
The two European Cup winners of last year FC BARCELONA (ESP) and CORENDON KINHEIM (NED) will be joined by FORTITUDO BOLOGNA (ITA), Italian champion T&A SAN MARINO (SMA), TEMPLIERS SENART (FRA) and Czech Extraleague winner AVG DRACI BRNO (CZE) in Matino.
The second European Cup takes place in Nettuno, Italy. The two best teams from each event qualify for the European Cup Final in Barcelona, Spain on June 20/21.
Each team has to submit a final 24-man roster on March 30th. Three foreign players are allowed to be on the final roster. Players who have a different nationality than that of the country the team represents are considered foreign players.
