San Marino shuts out Rimini and solidifies 4th place

SAN MARINO won a pitching dominated game and celebrated a 7-0 shutout against RIMINI on Thursday evening. After five scoreless innings to start the contest, T&A finally came through in the bottom of the sixth and scored the go-ahead run, when David Sheldon was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Two periods later Sheldon drove in two more runs on a single.
Horacio Estrada won the pitcher’s duel against Gustavo Martinez. Estrada allowed five hits and three walks in 6 2/3 innings for the win. Martinez gave up five hits, one run and three base on balls in seven. Both struck out eight.
