GROSSETO lost for the first time this season, as SAN MARINO won a ten-inning nail biter. James Buccheri scored the only run of the game in the top of the first extra inning on a sacrifice fly by Dean Rovinelli.
Brian Looney (SMA) pitched seven innings, allowing six hits. Lincoln Mikkelsen (GRO) gave up four hits and three walks in eight scoreless frames. Tiago Da Silva received the win, Leonardo D’Amico the loss.

The offense of CARIPARMA out-powered the RANGERS and they won 12-5. Leonardo Zileri (4-5, 5 RBI) and Luca Scalera hit homeruns. Riccardo Bertagnon drove in three.
Johnny Carvajal smacked a ball out of the park for REDIPUGLIA.
Josmir Romero allowed five hits, three runs and a walk in seven innings. Diego Zorzenon was charged with ten runs (8ER) and three base on balls in five-plus innings.

A wild game between NETTUNO and RIMINI had a thrilling end. They went into extra-innings with the score locked at four. DANESI scored three runs on a RBI single by Giuseppe Mazzanti and a two-run single by Andrea Castri‘ in the top of the tenth to take a 7-4 lead. However Carlos Pezzullo could not handle the advantage and blew it. RIMINI rallied for four runs in the bottom of the frame. Camargo ended the contest with a two-run walk-off double to bring Juan Melo and Mario Chiarini home.
Frank Menechino (NET) and Mazzanti (NET) hit homeruns during regulation.
Frailyn Florian started for NETTUNO. He allowed seven hits, four runs (3 ER) and a walk in seven innings. He struck out seven. Matt Beech opposed him and was replaced after four innings, nine hits, four runs and a bb. Gustavo Martinez relieved him and earned the win through six solid innings.

BOLOGNA used a six-run eighth to blow a close game against GODO open and celebrated a 11-0 shutout. Claudio Liverziani drove in three, Lino Connell two. Giovanni Pantaleoni reached four times and scored three runs.
Cody Cillo was happy about the massive run support. He struck out seven and combined with Chris George on a two-hitter. Michael Nisco allowed seven hits, three runs and three walks in five innings in the loss.
