Sam Faeder has found a new home for the upcoming European baseball season. He is going to be the player-coach for the Austrian third-division club Hard Bulls. Born in New York City, the 25-year-old graduated in Psychology and Sociology at Swarthmore in Philadelphia. In 2007 he joined the Israel Baseball League in its inaugural season, playing for the Netanya Tigers. One year later he came to Europe and the Belgian First Division team Brussels Kangaroos. After a winter stop with the Australian club Bonbeach Blue Jays he led the Therwil Flyers to the Swiss championship last season.
