RIMINI opened week four of the Italian Baseball League with a 6-2 victory against SAN MARINO. They took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI fielder’s choice by Luigi Carrozza and a RBI single by Luis Galavoti. T&A came right back and tied the match with a Max DiBiase 2-Run-Single in the top of the fifth.

However TELEMARKET answered also the call immediately by scoring four runs in the bottom of the same period. Mario Chiarini had a 2-Run-Double and later scored on a passed ball. Juan Melo drove in another run with a sac fly.

SAN MARINO loaded the bases in the eighth, but could not convert the scoring opportunity.

Matt Beech allowed three hits, two unearned runs and two walks in six innings for RIMINI. New import Horacio Estrada started for the guest team. He gave up seven hits, two runs and a base on balls in 3 2/3 Innings. Brian Looney replaced him in the fourth and took the loss.
