Former ASD Rimini manager Chris Catanoso has become High School head coach at Whitman-Hanson in Massachusetts.
Whitman-Hanson Regional High School announced the appointment of Chris Catanoso as its new varsity baseball coach. Catanoso brings a wealth of baseball experience to the Panthers most recently managing the Rimini Pirates to 3 consecutive Italian Cup Championship and 2 straight European Cup Finals. He has been a player, manager, pitching coach, 3rd base coach and hitting coach at many different levels of professional baseball. He has coached several MLB players including former Red Sox shortstop Edgar Renteria. He has also played for and coached with some great baseball minds including Dr. Mike Marshall, Bill Plummer and Wally Backman.
