Obviously, Belgium, the host country had the best representation with over 50 participants, thanks to the Belgian Federation and its 2 leagues and their excellent work for promoting the event.

Neighbor countries also showed up in very good numbers with 25 French coaches and 15 German coaches.

The rest of the participants came from the UK to Slovakia and from Sweden to Italy making it the most international coaching event in Europe.

There was also a wide variety of coaches attending, from youth coaches to national team and academy coaches.

Of course, the speakers, Jim Lefebvre, Jim Jones, Mike Lane, Mauro Mazzotti, Vaughn Robinson and Steve Janssen played a key role in the success of the week-end.

The EBCA honored the 2009 EBCA Coach of the Year, Steve Janssen from Neptunus Rotterdam, Dutch champion 09 and the EBCA Career Achievement Award winner, Clive Russell from MLBI for his work in Europe over the last 2 decades.
