Reussbuehl Eagles without four players in 2008

The NLA team Reussbuehl Eagles are going to replace four players for the 2008 season. The two infielder Mark FEHLMANN and Marcel ENZ end their career. ENZ will stay in the front office of the club. He was a member of the Swiss national team in the past. He hit .159 with one homerun, 13 runs scored and twelve RBI in 2007. FEHLMANN hit just .103 with nine runs scored and three RBI in limited time. He will leave the organisation.

They also announced that catcher Whitney ROBINSON-PIERCE and pitcher Pete SOSKIN would not return. ROBINSON-PIERCE hit .404 (SLG .877) with eight homeruns (No. 2 in the league), 26 runs scored and 28 RBI (No. 4). SOSKIN led the league in strikeouts (130), innings pitched (89) and complete games (7). He had a 6-4 record with an ERA of 1.42. He also was effective on the offensive side with a batting average of .350 with two homeruns, 19 runs scored and 19 RBI. The production of both Americans will be missed in Reussbuehl.
