Last weekend the 20th edition of the international youth tournament of CBS Gavà took place. 16 teams in two different age categories battled for the trophies on three days of competition at the ballpark nearby Barcelona, Spain. In the Alevin portion (born 1998 and later) CB Pitchers took first place after beating CB Viladecans G 18-17 in six innings. CBS Gavà and Manresa-Vic came in on third and fourth. In the Infantil category (born in 1996 and 1997) CB Irabia won the tournament after winning the final game 9-5 against CBS Rivas. Again host CBS Gavà finished in third place.
