One week after KARLSKOGA opened the season in the Swedish Elitserien with two wins over RÄTTVIK, the other six teams also kicked off their schedule on Saturday. All doubleheader were high-scoring affairs. Defending champion STOCKHOLM scored twelve runs each to beat GELFE in their home opener. SUNDBYBERG and LEKSAND combined for 48 runs in the two games, settling for a split. TRANAS celebrated two wins over the promoted club from GOTEBORG.
