Three tournaments of the Italian Winter League went under way last weekend. The BSC Arezzo was the big winner in Firenze with two wins. The Athletics Bologna took the lead in the Emilia Romagna standings with a 7-2 victory against Junior Rimini. The most games were played in Verona. All five teams of the second group kicked of their winter schedule. Praissola San Bonifacio and San Martino B dominated with four, respective three wins. Dario GUARDA (Bonifacio) struck out a ridiculous 15 in five innings pitched without allowing a run. The Italian Winter League continuous next week.
