The first tournament of the 2009 Italian Winter League season is in the books. Last Sunday the Emilia Romagna portion of the indoor league for youth players in Italy kicked off in Bologna. SALA BAGANZA shut out FORTITUDO BOLOGNA in the opener and defeated SAN MARINO narrowly in game two to start 2-0 in group A. Title defender ATHLETICS BOLOGNA later won also against SAN MARINO to close out the first game day. The tournament continues on January 25th.
