The Italian Winter League, a youth indoor competition, continued last weekend with two tournaments in the Veneto region. The “Trofeo Cassa di Risparmio” kicked off its schedule with round one in Rovigo. CERVIGNANO dominated with four victories in four games, clinching first place in group one. UPONOR ROVIGO only won once, but also secured a spot in the semi-finals on March 1st. The second round in Rovigo is scheduled for next weekend.
In Brescia the Veneto portion of the Italian Winter League held its third game day this season and the SAN MARTINO teams were able to improve their records. SAN MARTINO A is now 3-0 after winning against DYNOS VERONA. SAN MARTINO B is back at .500 with their first two victories. Next Sunday the field will be set for the regional playoffs.
