DES CASERTA received two strong pitching efforts from Lisa Birocci and Jennifer Davis to hold SANOTINT BOLLATE down 2-1 and 1-0. With the sweeps over the runner up in the Italian Softball League standings, DES CASERTA increased their lead to four games. BOLLATE is now tied with FIORINI FORLI and EUROPROMO TITANO HORNETS. Birocci gave up just one run on two hits and a walk in seven innings, striking out ten. Davis pitched a complete game shutout and issued just three hits and a bb with seven K’s.
