The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg have clinched the number one seed in the southern division of the German Baseball-Bundesliga. They won both games against the Saarlouis Hornets and took advantage of the Saturday loss by the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe against the Haar Disciples. The reigning champion still solidified second place, as they won the other three games of the home and away series. In the north the Solingen Alligators won twice in their showdown with the Paderborn Untouchables.
