In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the top teams stumbled but didn’t fell. In the north the Untouchables Paderborn nearly lost twice against the Dortmund Wanderers before settling for the split. They still remain in first place. The HSV Stealers and Bonn Capitals also couldn’t complete sweeps in matchups against the teams at the bottom. Only the Solingen Alligators won twice and solidified second place in the standings.
In the south the Mainz Athletics won two crucial games against the Haar Disciples and moved back into third place. The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg needed a walk-off comeback win to complete a sweep over the Gauting Indians. The Heidenheim Heidekoepfe also had their share of problems in two victories at the Bad Homburg Hornets.
