In the Interleague in the German Baseball-Bundesliga game day number three of four was played on Saturday. After four splits the standings remain the same. The Heidenheim Heidekoepfe are still in first place after winning game two against the Bonn Capitals 4-3. Game one was captured 9-4 by the Caps. The Munich-Haar Disciples follow in third place after sharing wins against the Dohren Wild Farmers. The Wild Farmers erased a 0-4 deficit in an 8-5 win in game one. In the second match Ryan Bollinger struck out 16 in a 7-0 shutout for the Disciples.
Meanwhile the Mannheim Tornados won game one against the Solingen Alligators 3-0 as Gianny Rizzo out-dueled Andre Hughes. In game two Wayne Ough and Solingen survived 17 hits by the Tornados in a 5-2 Alligators win. The Untouchables Paderborn and Mainz Athletics were stuck in two long games with Paderborn winning game one 10-8 and Mainz the second 10-7. The Interleague standings will serve as seeding list for the quarterfinals.
