The PULHEIM GOPHERS pulled off the biggest upset of the opening day in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. The promoted club won both games against the DORTMUND WANDERERS for a sweep. Last year’s regular season champions SOLINGEN ALLIGATORS and HEIDENHEIM HEIDEKOEPFE also started with two victories. The other matchups ended with splits.
