The German Baseball-Bundesliga has a tough schedule for certain teams these days. Games were set for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday with a new full game day ahead on Saturday and Sunday. In the north the Solingen Alligators shut out the HSV Stealers twice and also swept the first leg of the home-and-away series against the Cologne Cardinals to move into first place with a perfect 6-0 record. The Bonn Capitals follow with four wins in four games after their triumph against the Untouchables Paderborn.
In the southern division the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg are on top with a 6-0 record. They won against the Mannheim Tornados and the Bad Homburg Hornets with the latter being their next opponents at home. The Mainz Athletics and Haar Disciples also remain undefeated, although only after four respective two games. While the Stuttgart Reds seem heavily improved they still are stuck to a 2-4 record, but should be in line to content for the playoffs.
