Two of the three remaining undefeated teams in the German Baseball-Bundesliga played this week. SOLINGEN had a bye this game day. On Friday and Saturday the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE swept their two-game series against the MANNHEIM TORNADOS. In the night game they needed a walk off RBI single by Matt Vance in the tenth to decide the outcome. One day later they already led 8-0 after three innings en route to a 10-3 victory. In the north the PADERBORN UNTOUCHABLES had no problems whatsoever against the BONN CAPITALS, celebrating two lopsided mercy rule shortened wins. They will face the ALLIGATORS in a highly anticipated showdown next Friday.
