Results German Baseball-Bundesliga April 15 to 17, 2017

In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe remained undefeated after blowing by the Mannheim Tornados 13-6 and 9-3. They are now 6-0 and lead the standings in the south two games ahead of the Mainz Athletics and the Munich-Haar Disciples.

Mainz crushed the promoted Saarlouis Hornets 19-0 and 19-3. Martin Kipphan hit three home runs in game one. The Disciples won a home-and-away series 12-5 and 10-0 against the Stuttgart Reds. Ryan Bollinger struck out 15 in game two. Meanwhile also in the south the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg defeated the Bad Homburg Hornets for their first wins of the 2017 season.

In the north the Hamburg Stealers shut out the Cologne Cardinals 12-0 and 10-0. Dustin Ward no-hit Cologne in game two in seven innings, striking out 15. The Bonn Capitals improved to 4-0 with 2-0 and 17-1 wins over the Solingen Alligators. In game two Bonn scored ten runs in the seventh. The Dortmund Wanderers and the Untouchables Paderborn shared wins.
