Parallel to the European Softball Championships A-Pool in Valencia, Spain, which saw the Netherlands win the title with a 4-0 shutout over Great Britain in the finals, the B-Pool Championships took place in Hoboken, Belgium. Host Belgium clinched first place with a 10-1 win in five innings over Sweden. Croatia took third, while Israel came in at fourth. Nathalie Hoster picked up the best batter award, Veronique van Braeken was named best pitcher, while Patty van Wymelbeke received the MVP trophy.
