CORENDON KINHEIM moved back into the top four of the Dutch Hoofdklasse this weekend with a sweep over RCH MEDIA MONKS. The three-game series was highlighted by the gem of David Bergman in Saturday’s shutout, as he missed out on a perfect game by a eighth-inning single. On Thursday KINHEIM also had lost game four this season against L&D AMSTERDAM. On the weekend they got some help from the PIRATES, as they won two versus SPARTA/FEYENOORD after losing the opener on Saturday on a walk-off RBI single by Nick Eppinga in the ninth. DOOR NEPTUNUS and the KONICA MINOLTA PIONIERS reduced the deficit to AMSTERDAM to 2.5 games with sweeps over MR COCKER HCAW, respective ADO.
