In the Czech Extraleague Kotlarka Prague solidified first place with two wins over Skokani Olomouc on Saturday, improving to 13-3 for the season. Second-ranked AVG Draci Brno and third-ranked Technika Brno were off this weekend due to their European Cup participation. Also the second Prague-based club had a successful game day, as the Eagles beat Arrows Ostrava twice to return back to .500. In Brno Express Brno defeated Hrosi Brno in seven innings. The originally planned second game of the doubleheader got postponed due to rain and will be made up on Monday.
