The leadership of the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE in the southern conference was put to an end by the HEIDEKOPEFE this weekend in the Bundesliga. They won both games in REGENSBURG and took over first with a 19-5 record. They also now have the tiebreaker on their side, as they have won the season series.

In the race for the playoff spots the TORNADOS and the ATHLETICS won key games on the road. MANNHEIM swept the doubleheader in SAARLOUIS. MAINZ got crushed by the DISCIPLES in the first match, but came back to win the second. The A’s now have a three-game lead in fourth place. They need just one win in the remaining four games of the regular season to clinch the playoffs definitely.

In the north the race for three and four stays hot, as the CARDINALS and the CAPITALS both won, and the WANDERERS lost two games this weekend.
