The hopes for a playoff participation for the CAPITALS hit a season low. They lost their last regular season against the ALLIGATORS 1-11 and dropped to fifth in the standings in the northern conference, as DORTMUND has the better tiebreaker. BONN has only a chance to move into the top four, when the CARDINALS lose all three of their remaining games next weekend.
In the south, the HEIDEKOEPFE secured first place in the standings with a sweep in HAAR. Second-ranked BUCHBINDER LEGIONARE lost both games in MAINZ. They have dropped the last five games. The TORNADOS also clinched mathematically a spot in the playoffs with two lopsided wins against GAUTING.
