The top game took place in Regensburg, with the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE facing MANNHEIM. The impressive pitching staff of the vice champion held the TORNADOS to two runs in the doubleheader. The offense provided enough run support for two victories.
In the north the BONN CAPITALS won the first game against the NIGHTMARES by an impressive 21-10 score. They took the second part of the doubleheader as well.
PADERBORN got two 5-2 victories against the promoted WANDERERS. It was the season debut for both after rainouts at the opening weekend.
