With the leading Hoboken Pioneers off in preparations for the European Cup this week, the Belgian First Division continued with six games on Saturday and Sunday. The Namur Angels and the Merchtem Cats split their two-game series, as well as the Port of Antwerp Greys and the K. Deurne Spartans. The Brasschaat Braves won both games against the Mortsel Stars and improved to 5-8, reducing the gap towards the playoff spots.
