The showdown between NAMUR and HOBOKEN ended in a split. On Saturday the ANGELS overcame a 0-3 deficit midway through the eighth and won on a Henry Perkins walk-off homerun in the bottom of the eleventh by a score of 4-3. Zach Potter picked up the win with 15 strikeouts in a complete game effort. On Sunday the PIONEERS had the better ending, winning 4-3 on a two-out walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth.
The BRASSCHAAT BRAVES and the PORT OF ANTWERP GREYS profited from the split of the top two teams and cut a game from the deficit in the standings with sweeps over the MORTSEL STARS, respective MERCHTEM CATS. The BRUSSELS KANGAROOS and the BORGERHOUT SQUIRRELS each won one game.
