The German Baseball-Bundesliga held its third game day of the season on Easter Monday, just two days after the second. In a doubleheader between to heavy weights in the south, the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE won twice in HEIDENHEIM thanks to a two-out six-run rally in the ninth in the first match, highlighted by a Matt Vance grand slam and a ten-inning solo homerun by Rodney Gessmann in the second.
