Just one game was played in the Australian Baseball League on Friday. The Adelaide Bite scored five runs in the sixth and six in the seventh en route to dispatching the Sydney Blue Sox 11-3. After Tyler Collins made it 3-0 with a solo homerun in the fifth, Adelaide came through against Sydney’s starter Chris Oxspring. Carlton Tanabe hit a three-run homerun during the first big rally. Scott Gladstone and Brendon Pett drove in two apiece. Darren Fidge got the win. The duel between the Canberra Cavalry and the Melbourne Aces was postponed due to rain.
