Results Australian Baseball League December 20



Week seven in the Australian Baseball League came to an end on Tuesday with the Perth Heat clipping the Melbourne Aces 12-1. Seven runs between the second and fourth decided the outcome quickly. Mychal Givens and Aaron Baker went deep for Perth and accounted for seven of the ten RBI. Robert Sorensen (W, 1-1) pitched seven strong innings for the win. Adam Blackley (L, 0-1) got charged with the loss, issuing four hits, five runs (2 ER) and two walks in 2 1/3 innings. It was his first start of the season.
