The first round of the Belgian competition stays very tight and full of suspense.
This week, due to bad weather on saturday, saw two more games postponed which are becoming very annoying to get a clear view on the standings.
With only one full weekend of play only three teams are sure to be in the elite playoffs.
Between number four and number eight only three wins separate them and both number four and six have games back.
This weekend Greys beat Borgerhout twice tough it was a very close game on sunday. Borgerhout led at the beginning of the 8° inning by 8 to 4 but finally lost 8-12. This could very well be a very expensive loss for Borgerhout.
Brussels and Braschaat tied the weekend with one win each. This left the two teams unsatisfied since none of them is already out of the danger zone.
The big surprise this weekend came from Merchtem , where the local Cats, newcomer in the Belgian first division, beat Namur by 3-1.
The game on saturday came to a stop in the 4° inning with a standing af 4-3.
