As we announced in spring there will be qualifications to the second Slovenian elementary school championship in September, which will be held in spring 2010.
Following the guidelines of this project which is under supervision and direction of ZBSS (Slovenian baseball and softball federation), was the most successful club BSK Zajčki from Ljubljana. They succeeded to overcome the expectations and managed to bring six participating elementary schools to this program for fast and accurate development of baseball sport in the region. Therefore we congratulate them for their success.
Other clubs did their effort by the guidelines and managed to bring the basic minimum of elementary school participations to this program, so the preparations for the second championship are in progress, which will be held in spring of the year 2010.

There were four school teams at the first primary school championship, as we planned by the guidelines, and there will be eight school teams at the second, as we planned by the guideline directives.
The project is showing remarkable effect on growing quantity of new young players at the clubs. In the future we believe that the project will bring us many more results on the other administrative fields such as scorekeepers, umpires, administrators, coaches and leadership staff as well. Also the program is set so the new generations of young players that are presented with the sport of baseball and softball with as moon-line least resistance as possible, with as which the best results as possible.
