In Zurich the rematch of last year’s finals take place. The CHALLENGERS host the 2007 champion CARDINALS. One of the two games was already scheduled for the beginning of the month to open the season. However the weather had something against it and they will try again on Saturday.
BERN got off to a good start last weekend, defeating the other team from Zurich, the BARRACUDAS 9-8 and 8-1. Well, and the CHALLENGERS got crushed by the LAUSANNE INDIANS on home turf, allowing 43 runs in two games.
There are no other doubleheaders scheduled this weekend in Switzerland.
