Reed Browns remains with Stock City Cubs

The Stock City Cubs, which return to the Austrian Baseball League after one season in the second division, announced on Christmas on their website that they are bringing back player/coach Reed Brown. He had a perfect 11-0 record with a league-leading ERA of 0.96 in twelve starts. He struck out 133 batters in 80 innings, while walking just nine. He gave up just 38 hits all season. The right-hander from Seattle, Washington played three season for Oregon State between 2005 and 2008.
