Tiago Da Silva struck out ten in eight innings to lead SAN MARINO to a 5-1 victory over PARMA. He allowed just one unearned run on three hits and a walk. He threw 80 of his 121 pitches for strikes. After CARIPARMA took the lead in the third on a pair of errors, T&A came back and turned the score into their favor in the fourth on a RBI single by Francesco Imperiali and a sac fly by Riccardo Suardi. They added three more runs later on, two on a single by Imperiali in the seventh. Marco Grifantini took the loss after four innings, two hits, two runs and three bb.

NETTUNO took a fast 1-0 lead in the opening frame, when Juan Camilo scored on a wild pitch by Chris Cooper. The small margin stood until the top of the sixth, where DANESI added three more runs on RBI singles by Manuel Gasparri and Camilo and an error to seal the 5-1 victory. Renato Imperiali (NET) and Raul Marval (GRO) later exchanged solo homeruns. Giovanni Carrara (5 IP) and Joel Hernandez (4 IP) combined to allow just six hits, a run and three walks, while striking out nine. Cooper took the loss after giving up six hits, three runs and four bb in five-plus innings.

RIMINI crushed REGGIO EMILIA 13-1 on Friday evening. Eddie Rios homered and drove in three. Jack Santora, Mario Chiarini and Ivanon Coffie picked up two RBI each. Rafael Garcia pitched five two-hit innings for the win. He struck out five. Abe Alvarez was hit hard, conceding nine hits and seven runs (6 ER) in three innings.
De Angelis Godo – Fortitudo Bologna 2-10

Richard Austin, Giovanni Pantaleoni and Joseph Mazzuca hit homeruns, as BOLOGNA defeated GODO 10-2. Felix Escalona drove in both runs of DE ANGELIS with a double in the fifth. Yulman Ribeiro profited from the run support and easily got another win. He allowed four hits, two runs and three walks in seven innings. Brandon Camardese was charged with six runs on nine hits in three innings for the loss.
