Davide Benetti hit a tie-breaking two-run double in the top of the seventh inning to lead Cariparma Parma to a 7-5 victory over Danesi Nettuno. They had erased a 0-3 deficit with a five-run rally in the sixth, but Nettuno came right back to even the score. Francesco Cozzolino (W) received the win in relief. Matteo Pizziconi (L) took the loss.

Sandy Patrone (W) allowed just three hits and a walk in seven scoreless innings in a 6-0 shutout by Telemarket Rimini over Montepaschi Grosseto. Paolo Tanesini drove in two. Bryan Chaves and Brian Nelson had three hits apiece. Riccardo De Santis (L) issued nine hits, six runs (4 ER) and four bb in 4 2/3 frames.
Unipol Bologna – North East Knights 4-6

The North East Knights scored four runs in the top of the ninth to stun Unipol Bologna with a 6-4 victory. Mattia Bucchi delivered the go-ahead two-run double in the top of the ninth. Joey Schwartz and Danilo Sanchez scored twice. Peter Nyari (W) got the win in relief. Mark Langone (L) blew the save opportunity and took the loss. Fabio Betto was the starter for Bologna. He hurled six scoreless one-hit innings, but didn’t get rewarded with a win.

T&A San Marino scored 10 runs in the first two innings en route to crushing Novara United 15-3 in seven innings. Jairo Ramos (grand slam) and Lorenzo Avagnina hit homeruns and combined for four runs and seven RBI. Wuilliuans Vasquez crossed the plate thrice. Ivan Granados (W) struck out seven in five solid innings, allowing five hits and three runs (1 ER). Alejandro Morese (L) was charged with 10 runs on 10 hits and three walks in two innings.
