DOOR Neptunus completed its three-game sweep over the Konica Minolta Pioniers on Sunday afternoon with an 11-1 win. Marvin Bleij led the offense going 3-for-4 with four RBI. Benjamin Dille scored three times. Kevin Heijstek issued just one hit and a walk in six scoreless innings for the win. Ramon Romeijn took the loss after conceding five hits, four runs and two bb in two-plus innings.

A throwing error by shortstop Mitchell Graham helped Rodney Randy Daal to score the winning run in the bottom of the tenth for HCAW in a 2-1 win over Almere. Jair Roseburg had put the Magpies in front in the top of the ninth with a RBI single, but Mr. Cocker evened the score in the bottom of the frame with a bases loaded walk by Bart Gabriels. Joey Eijpe (HCA) struck out ten batters in 6 1/3 solid innings. Dennis Burgersdijk (ALM) gave up three hits and a walk in five innings. Kevin Roovers picked up the win, Martin Kuipers the loss.
L&D Amsterdam Pirates – Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam 1-2

Sparta/Feyenoord upset L&D Amsterdam 2-1 on the road. A sac fly by Percy Isenia and a RBI single by Roderick Simon was all Rotterdam needed to seal the win. The Pirates only were able to cut the deficit to a run with a RBI single by Wesley Connor in the seventh. Tim Roodenburg pitched six strong innings for the win, allowing just three hits and a walk. Ben Grover issued three hits, an unearned run and three bb in four innings for the loss.
